Product Description

Ensure your staff knows how to operate the Philips HeartStart OnSite AED on infants and children with these electrode pads. The Infant/Child Training pads connect directly to the Philips HeartStart OnSite Defibrillator or Philips HeartStart Trainer. The training pads cartridge can also be used on a Manikin, with the aid of an Internal Manikin Adapter or an External Manikin Adapter. Infant/Child Training pads Cartridges are available for training and demonstration purposes. These special non-clinical pads, when installed in the HeartStart HS1 Defibrillator, suspend the defibrillator's ability to deliver a shock and activate its training mode, enabling the user to run any of eight emergency scenarios. The defibrillator's voice instructions include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) coaching.

Product Description

The Philips External Manikin Adapter is a reusable attachment that sticks over Manikin skin and is intended for use on CPR/AED Manikins. Once the strip is placed on the Manikin, the Philips OnSite or FRx unit can recognize when the pads have been placed, and can continue past the voice prompt, "Apply pads to patient." Without this strip, the pads will not be recognized and the voice prompt will repeat itself.
